Today, Thursday, Faisal Al-Naili, a representative of the State of Law parliamentary bloc, accused the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani, of perjury.
Al-Naili said in a statement to Al-Maalouma Agency, “The controversial laws were voted on without a legal quorum,” indicating that “the Speaker of the House of Representatives ignored listening to the comments and opinions of the members of the House of Representatives.”
He added, “There are appeals submitted to the Federal Supreme Court regarding the challenge to the voting mechanism on controversial laws.”
Al-Naili pointed out that “there are parliamentary signatures collected to dismiss the Speaker of Parliament, Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani, from his position.”
He pointed out that “many comments were recorded on the voting record on controversial laws, including the general amnesty.”
