Vietnam offered to Iraq to replace tea product has in exchange for crude oil.
A statement by the Iraqi Ministry of Trade received by all of Iraq [where] a copy of it, that “the Minister of Trade Agency Salman Jumaili met in his office in the Vietnamese ambassador to Iraq [Vonk van and that] and discussed the promotion of economic and trade relations and the prospects of developing and activating trade exchange between the two countries.”
He Jumaili according to the statement that ” the Iraqi – Vietnamese relations are old and solid and we are very keen on the continuation of these relations between the two countries and activating the work of the joint committee between the two countries to their importance in the development of economic and trade relations.”
He called on the Minister of Commerce , ” the Vietnamese side to participate in the Baghdad International Fair to showcase their products as well as to invite Iraqi businessmen to visit Vietnam and see the Vietnamese companies.”
Be his part Ambassralvinama according to the statement on “his country ‘s keenness to develop economic and trade relations between the two countries and expressed its readiness to activate the work of the joint committee between the two countries and the possibility of activating trade exchange in particular. And Vietnam is famous for the production of tea, rice, coffee , and that Iraq needs , and in return, the Vietnam needs to Iraqi crude oil”
