US President Donald Trump commented on Wednesday evening on reports that some members of the Iraqi parliament chanted “Death to America” during a parliamentary session.
During his conversation with journalists, one of the reporters asked Trump about his response to those chants inside the Iraqi parliament, to which the American president replied sarcastically, “That’s an unpleasant question.”
The Iraqi parliament session held last Saturday to discuss the repercussions of the American-Israeli war on Iran witnessed a number of MPs chanting anti-American and anti-Israeli slogans inside the parliament hall, including “Death to America, Death to Israel” and “America is the Great Satan.”
