Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi directed on Tuesday that private generators be supplied with fuel at a subsidized price for the month of September. The Prime Minister’s Media Office stated in a statement that “Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi directed today that private generators be supplied with fuel at a quantity of 40 liters per hour/watt, at a subsidized price of 400 dinars per liter, throughout the current month of September.”
He added, “He also directed adherence to the currently approved operating hours, with no less than 20 hours per day, alternating between the national electricity grid and private generators, in order to ensure the stability and sustainability of supplying citizens with electricity.”
