President Nizar Amidi stressed on Friday the need to adhere to the constitutional deadlines for submitting the candidate of the largest parliamentary bloc, considering this a constitutional entitlement that cannot be delayed.
The President of the Republic stated in a post on the (x) platform that “we emphasize the need to adhere to the constitutional timelines in presenting the candidate of the largest parliamentary bloc, considering this a constitutional entitlement that cannot be delayed, and a national responsibility that falls on everyone.”
He added that “expediting this process will enhance political stability, ensure the smooth functioning of institutions, and respond to citizens’ aspirations for a government capable of fulfilling its duties and serving their interests, especially in light of the sensitive circumstances that necessitate prioritizing the country’s higher interests.”
