Today, Sunday, Minister of Planning Khaled Battal Al-Najm announced that the ministry has begun practical measures to form a board of directors and develop the Iraqi private sector.
The star, upon receiving Irina Solorano, Deputy Special Representative of the United Nations for Humanitarian Affairs in Iraq, and her accompanying delegation, stated that the formation of this council comes in the context of the expected developmental role for it, which was included in the Iraq vision for sustainable development 2030, prepared by the ministry, in cooperation And partnership with various sectors, government, private sector, civil society organizations, and the media. ”
He explained that the work of the Council at the beginning of its work will be through a joint committee headed and supervised by the Minister of Planning, and its membership includes representatives of the activities under the banner of the private sector, as well as representatives of the relevant government agencies, adding that the work of this committee will continue for a period of one year, then he will take over Then the private sector, the management process for its board affairs.
The meeting, which was attended by the Director General of International Cooperation at the Ministry of Planning, Saher Abdul Kadhim, discussed a number of humanitarian, health and development issues and files, as well as discussions in the field of achieving human development in Iraq, within the five-year development plan tracks.
