The Ministry of Communications is promising a “shift” in internet service quality soon

{Baghdad: Al Furat News} The Ministry of Communications promised, on Wednesday, that the quality of Internet service would soon change.
The ministry stated in a press release that “the light transmission project will soon see the light,” indicating that “the project includes expanding the optical cable project to include all provinces (except for the Kurdistan region) and aims to deliver the FTTH service to citizens’ homes.”
She added, “The project is being carried out by the General Company for Communications and Informatics, and the project to establish, operate and maintain the (FTTH) system is currently being announced. It aims to provide a high-level service at reasonable prices according to the citizen’s needs.”
She noted that “the project will create a lot of job opportunities in all its stages and will supply the state treasury with good financial returns, and will make a shift in the quality of the Internet service provided to citizens.”
