Today, Monday, an informed source revealed the Kurdistan Democratic Party’s nomination of the region’s interior minister and the director of the party’s leader’s office, Massoud Barzani, for the post of President of the Republic.
The source said, “After the Democratic Party’s Political Bureau refused to nominate Fadel Mirani, its leader, Massoud Barzani, went to nominate his office director and the region’s interior minister, Riber Ahmed, for the post of President of the Republic.”
And sources revealed earlier today, Monday, the Kurdistan Democratic Party’s nomination of politician Fadel Mirani, for the position of President of the Republic, as a replacement for Hoshyar Zebari, against whom the Federal Court issued a decision banning him from running for the position, based on lawsuits filed before it.
