Member of the Coordination Framework, Uday Abdul Hadi, suggested on Monday that a meeting of the Framework’s forces would be held this evening in the capital, Baghdad, in light of the existence of four important files that require resolution, the most prominent of which is completing the discussions of the candidates for the remaining ministerial portfolios in Ali Zaidi’s government.
Abdul-Hadi explained in his interview with Al-Maalomah that “holding a meeting of the framework forces this evening or tomorrow in the capital, Baghdad, is very likely, given the existence of four important files, the most prominent of which is settling the discussions on the remaining ministerial portfolio candidates, in addition to other files related to the financial, economic and regional situation, in light of the tensions witnessed in the Middle East.”
He indicated that “the forces within the framework agree on the necessity of expediting the selection of candidates for nine ministerial portfolios, including security portfolios, in Ali Zaidi’s government. Therefore, the meeting scheduled for today or tomorrow will be crucial for resolving this issue directly.”
