Political activity is intensifying recently to finalize the cabinet and fill the remaining vacant ministerial posts. This comes amidst growing calls from parliamentarians and political figures to resolve this issue, which is considered one of the most significant challenges facing the government. This is especially crucial given the approaching important political and legislative deadlines and the increasing need for a fully empowered government capable of managing service, economic, and security matters.

In this context, Member of Parliament Karim Aliwi emphasized that completing the current cabinet has become an urgent necessity dictated by the nature of the current challenges facing the country. He explained that delaying the resolution of this issue is negatively impacting the overall performance of the state.
Aliwi explained to Al-Maalomah that resolving the issue of the vacant ministerial portfolios would bolster political stability and give the cabinet greater momentum in managing sensitive service and economic issues directly impacting citizens’ lives. In this context, Salah Boushi, a member of the State of Law Coalition, confirmed that recent meetings and political moves have yielded positive signs toward narrowing the gaps between political forces. In an interview with Al-Maalomah, Boushi added that the understandings reached have made the option of passing the remaining ministries as a single package more realistic and feasible. He emphasized that completing the government formation will enable it to fully exercise its powers and responsibilities and will enhance political stability in the coming period.
