To the average Iraqi, it will just be a reduction in the money supply only. His salary will be reduced equivalent to the new value of the currency. If the currency goes up 1000 times in value, his salary will decrease by 1000. So to him there is no change. There has to be a balance of everything based on the new value. Read more…

The closer this RV gets the more many of the businesses want to invest & do business in Iraq. This sounds really promising to me. There have been about 5 articles yesterday & today [Tuesday] about the lifting of the zeroes from the money & that it is a process and the process has been started, it’s been going on. Article: “White House supports Barazani as President of Iraq instead of Talabani” This is huge news if it turns out to be legitimate & they push forward with that. We can look for good things if Barazani gets sworn in as the President of Iraq. If Barazani is put in as President, Maliki is in deep trouble…you can look for a no confidence vote. One of two things has to occur before some kind of reassessment of this currency…balancing of power or Maliki taken out of power. 4-10-2013 Newshound Guru Adam Montana Another week has gone by with no RV, but no lop either so we keep hanging in there. …here is a quick summary: Maliki has decided to stop attending meetings, Parliament asked for 2 months off and it looks like they got one month off, Shabibi is still yapping about his innocence but is probably not going to ever get back into his former spot, Kuwait still wants Iraq out of Chapter 7 (but Iraq isn’t going to push too hard until there’s a good reason, like an RV), and the CBI announced that they are setting up “outlets” to sell hard currency. 4-9-2013 Intel/Newshound Guru Poppy3 Hearing great news this morning that all charges against Dr Shabibi are officially dropped?? this would allow him to come back and be the cbi governor if he chooses. Also hearing that MALIKI’S GOON TURKI he placed in that cbi roll has now got charges and arrest warrants against him for stealing the 10 tons of gold??? WOULD NOT WANT TO BE IN HIS SHOES. NEXT I ALSO HAVE HEARD A RUMOR THAT MALIKI HAS MADE A DEAL TO LEAVE WITH IMMUNITY FROM PROSECUTION BUT THIS IS VERY UNCONFIRMED…WE WILL KEEP TRYING TO CONFIRM IF THIS IS FACTUAL AND IF IT IS WE COULD SEE THE RV MUCH SOONER THAN LATER. This article implies that it will occur later this year. If you solely look at historic large currency appreciations, even a 20% increase, runs the risk of having negative long term effects. A 100,000% increase is by far the most aggressive approach every undertaken, if indeed that is the plan, be that long-term of short-term.
