3-20-2016 Newshound Guru Tlar Article: “Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq will receive substantial financial support soon” Iraq still needs loans even after they change the value of their currency and they need huge infusion of capital because fiscally, they are still draining whether they raise the value of their currency or not. The advantages to raising the value are many…1st is investment. With an international Article Viii currency companies are more apt to invest large sums in Iraq because they see an easy path to get their money out. Secondly, it will stop the auctions because there usefulness will have run its course due to Iraqi companies not needing to convert to USD before they pay. No more remittances needed. No more systemic theft through the auctions. Third they will be pulling in dollars and letting dinars out as long as the rate is attractive enough, meaning the spread between the program rate and street rate disappears. Auctions will no longer be a vehicle with which speculators make a short profit and devalue the dinar and the CBI is expecting a resurgence in people coming back to use the banks again. While pegged, they have to do auctions to provide dollars, and to demonstrate they can manage the currency (spread) for the day they exit and join the world in Article VIII. …I am hopeful with the IMF stating first half, and the article surfacing including today’s from Allaq that said “coming months” it seems that they may get their act together and open the banking system later this year. 3-11-2016 Newshound Guru Tlar I think Sadr’s job in all this is to pressurize the change putting fear into all those who continue to try to stall this. I think Sadr is on board with Abadi and is taking an active roll in pushing this agenda the only way he can be of benefit to Abadi. By threatening to over run the green zone he has been able to get everyone going the same direction through that fear. Ministers quiting that otherwise might have tried to stay on, antagonistic blocks backing down from pushing to delay, etc. etc. I don’t think under any circumstances would he actually go in and wipe the government out. But he has put the fear of Allah in the corrupt politicians and they aren’t sure if he means what he says. This is why I think Abadi will be able to get this government seated quickly. Sadr is the bulldozer working with Abadi clearing the way for the reforms, while Abadi quickly gets them in place before the SOL and the other corrupt have a chance to organize. Read more…

3-4-2016 Newshound Guru Tlar Abadi just resigned as a member of the SOL killing the direct lines of communication between the SOL and the Abadi government. He did this to start his new super block which is to consist of non sectarian and patriotic mp’s, meaning these folks want to do the job of getting down to fixing the problem and punishing the corrupt. This block should grow quickly as it will become the focus of the separating the corrupt from the non corrupt. The US put together and presented to the Abadi government a hit list of the 41 most corrupt officials in Iraq. Iraq is a very dangerous place right now but it is my belief that it is now Abadi must act.
