On Tuesday, the representative of the State of Law coalition, Muhammad Al-Saihoud, confirmed the refusal of the political forces to pass any political bargaining during the approval of the budget, indicating that obstructing the government’s work by some parties is unacceptable.
Al-Saihoud said in a statement to Al-Maalouma, “The budget law is the most important parliamentary legislation, and no political party can bargain about passing the law in exchange for another approval,” explaining that “the budget is the most influential law on the citizen’s daily life.”
He added, “The bargaining political parties aim to disrupt the government’s work in any way and prevent it from taking positive steps by providing services, improving the standard of living for citizens, and reducing unemployment.”
Chihod called “the political blocs to keep the federal budget law for the next three years away from all trenches and political moods through which some blocs are trying to pass other laws that are not as important as the budget.”
