State Of Law: Attempts To Weaken The Framework Failed And Zebari Became Far From The Republican Palace

The leader of the State of Law, Turki Jadaan, confirmed, on Saturday, that the chances of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) in reaching the Republican Palace have greatly diminished during the past hours.
Jadaan told the agency “Information”, that “the political scene in Iraq witnessed during the past 24 hours a series of important variables, most notably al-Sadr’s position on the Kurdistan Democratic Party candidate,” noting that “Hoshyar Zebari greatly reduced his chances of reaching the Republican Palace.”
He added, “Attempts to exclude the coordination framework from the negotiations to form a government failed because it represents an important and basic corner of the political process,” stressing that “the demonstrations that came out to reject Zebari’s assumption of the Republican presidency are popular, not political, messages and reflect the Iraqi street’s rejection of this choice.”
He pointed out that “the changes must be accompanied by serious dialogues that push the partners to the dialogue table and strive to form an inclusive national government that meets the aspirations of all Iraqis and contributes to addressing acute issues and crises, especially security and economic.”
