The Secretary-General of the League of the Righteous, Sheikh Qais Khazali, confirmed that the framework forces have pledged to Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’ al-Sudani not to give immunity to anyone.
“The prime minister is committed to attending weekly meetings of the coordination framework,” Sheikh Khazali said in an interview with state television, stressing that “the coordination framework is the form of the government.”
He pointed out that “a large part of the current political class is convinced of the need for real solutions in the executive work,” stressing that “all the framework forces have pledged to the prime minister not to give immunity to anyone.”
Regarding services, Khazali stressed that “the government must take into account Iraq’s interest in economic files,” noting that “it is in Iraq’s interest to move forward with the Chinese agreement.”
And on the file of external aggression, Khazali said that “Iraq must have one position on any external aggression,” noting that “Iraq is a strong country and has a great army.”
