The head of the Supreme Islamic Council, Sheikh Humam Hamoudi, and the Secretary-General of the Badr Organization, Hadi al-Amiri, called on Saturday for maintaining the cohesion of the framework and for the swift completion of the cabinet.
The Supreme Council said in a statement that “the head of the Supreme Islamic Council, Sheikh Humam Hamoudi, received the Secretary-General of the Badr Organization, Hadi al-Amiri,” indicating that “the latest developments in the political scene were discussed, as well as the priorities of the post-government formation phase, and the importance of maintaining the stability of the political process through understandings.”
Both sides stressed “the importance of maintaining the cohesion of the coordination framework and moving its working mechanisms to an institutional format that is consistent with the requirements of the current stage, its challenges and popular aspirations,” emphasizing “the need to strengthen the language of dialogue and understanding between all political forces, and to prioritize the supreme national interest in the requirements of the next stage.”
They called for “the swift completion of the cabinet in a way that ensures the smooth functioning of state institutions.”
