President Barham Saleh stressed the need to strengthen relations between Iraq and the United States in all fields.
“President Barham Saleh received at the Peace Palace in Baghdad Sunday morning the special envoy of the US president to Iraq, Brett McGurk and the accompanying delegation,” a statement from his office said.
“Saleh stressed the importance of relations between Iraq and the United States, stressing the need to strengthen them in all fields, especially economic and trade in the framework of the strategic framework agreement between the two countries.”
For his part, McGork said, “his country’s determination to enhance the prospects for cooperation between the two countries.”
