A member of the State of Law coalition, Jassim Muhammad al-Bayati, said today, Monday, that the new government will be worse than its predecessors, while noting that the political process will be free of reform, and the principle agreed upon by its parties is trading and achieving personal interests only.
Al-Bayati told the agency, “Information”, that “everyone sings about reform, but on the ground we have not seen any reform, due to the presence of the same political faces that were in previous governments,” noting that “the only principle agreed upon by the majority of political forces is trading and achieving personal interests.” far from the interests of the Iraqi people and their reform demands.”
He added, “Most of the previous government’s decisions were inconsistent with the requirements of the Iraqi street, starting with raising the price of the dollar, which came under the pretext of addressing the economic situation until the moment,” noting that “reform begins with changing the three presidencies through most of the political forces controlling the country.”
A member of the State of Law coalition explained that “the next Iraqi government will not be better than its predecessors, and it cannot achieve any real achievement that meets the requirements of Iraqi society.”
