Today, Sunday, independent MP Basem Khashan revealed the possibility of postponing tomorrow’s session due to the Federal Court’s decision about Hoshyar Zebari.
Khashan said in a press interview that “the Federal Court’s issuance of a state decision to stop the candidacy of Hoshyar Zebari for the post of President of the Republic, means postponing the presidential election session, which is hoped to be held tomorrow, Monday.”
Khashan added, “The holding of the election session will be after resolving the case after which the state order was taken.”
The Federal Court decided, on Sunday, to stop the procedures for the nomination of Hoshyar Zebari for the presidency of the Republic.
