On Monday, MP Mohammed Al-Khafaji revealed a move to audit the academic credentials of all state officials.
Al-Khafaji said in a post on social media that an official letter issued by the administrative department of the House of Representatives requires members of the council to submit their graduation documents for the three educational stages: primary, intermediate and preparatory, for the purpose of auditing.
Al-Khafaji attached to his post a copy of the book issued by the General Secretariat of the House of Representatives, indicating the existence of cases of forgery and manipulation of documents of some officials, and stressing the need to uncover those involved and hold them accountable.
He warned against attempts to change reality or arrange situations and documents after the request was issued, stressing that the procedure is not limited to members of the House of Representatives, but includes all state officials.
