And he indicated that “Tehran may persist with these aggressive acts against Iraq and the Iraqis,” suggesting that the Iranians would “carry out bombing operations even on the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, under the pretext of the presence of the Mossad in specific headquarters and in concerned areas, and perhaps the matter will expand to other provinces.”

Al-Alusi stressed, “The Iraqi government is required to take real action against this aggression,” stressing that “there must be a firm international position towards Tehran.”

Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, was attacked (on Saturday night, Sunday, March 13th), by 12 “long-range” ballistic missiles, which were launched from outside the Iraqi borders, and landed in the vicinity of the American consulate and Kurdistan 24 station in the Salah al-Din resort, which resulted in damages.
