Former MP Hassan Fad’am confirmed on Thursday that political and public circles are anticipating the completion of the cabinet within the next two weeks, noting that Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi pledged to finalize his ministerial portfolios during the recent meeting of the State Administration Coalition.
Fad’am told Al-Ma’louma, “The recent meeting of the State Administration Coalition, attended by Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi, emphasized the need to expedite the completion of the cabinet within the next few days.”
He added, “The Prime Minister pledged to complete his cabinet and present the names of the candidates for ministerial positions to Parliament after all political blocs have submitted their nominations for the vacant portfolios.”
He explained that “the current political activity and the Prime Minister’s pledge to finalize the cabinet all indicate that the issue of the vacant portfolios will be resolved within the next week or two, with all cabinet nominees being finalized before being submitted to Parliament.”
