Parliamentary services: 10 days separate us from completing the cabinet.

The head of the parliamentary services bloc, Kazem al-Shammari, indicated on Monday that a final agreement to complete the cabinet and fill the remaining vacant ministerial posts is likely to be reached within 10 days.
Al-Shammari told Al-Maalomah News Agency that “political dialogues between the parliamentary blocs and forces have made significant progress in bridging differences and ending the current deadlock.” He added that “the coming days will witness decisive understandings that will pave the way for the nominations to be put to a vote in Parliament.”
He further stated that “completing the government formation with all its members has become an urgent requirement to enable the executive branch to perform its duties, improve public services and the economy, and meet citizens’ needs without further delay.”
Earlier, MP Abbas al-Maliki confirmed that “reintroducing some of the cabinet nominees who did not receive parliamentary approval could be part of the political discussions.”
