A member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Representative Mudar Al-Karawi, announced, on Tuesday, that the vote has been decided on 3 important paragraphs in the 2023 budget.

Al-Karawi said, in an interview with Al-Maalouma, that “the Finance Committee voted on 3 important items a short while ago, which is the creation of job grades necessary to confirm those who have contractual service for two years or more, provided that they continue to serve, whether paid or free, without interruption, regardless of the date of the contract or Employment, the type of contract, and the provision of the necessary financial allocations for them in state institutions.

He explained that this includes “contractors before and after 10/2/2019, awakenings in state institutions, lecturers and administrators in the directorates of education and good news in Diyala, contracts for assigning Umm al-Rabi’in in Nineveh, confirming Salah al-Din’s health staff, Muthanna Health Recruitment staff, the Election Commission (election contracts) and guards.” The Sunni Endowment and the lecturers of 2019, in addition to contracting with veterinarians within the Veterinary Medical Graduation Law and according to the Ministry’s need.

The Finance Committee has been discussing the items of the 2023 budget for days, in order to resolve its paragraphs and items, and put it to the final vote expected at the end of this week.
