On Sunday, the Parliamentary Finance Committee expressed its astonishment at an appeal submitted by the Iraqi government in some paragraphs of the federal general budget .
And she said in a statement, that she “is surprised by the appeal submitted by the government in some paragraphs of the budget that will deprive the oil-producing provinces of their petrodollar allocations, after the Finance Committee added a paragraph in the budget that guarantees the rights of these provinces .”
She added that she “is also surprised by the government’s rejection of the parliament’s decision to increase the purchase prices of wheat, barley and rye crops from farmers,” noting that it “included this paragraph in the budget in support of farmers and the advancement of the agricultural sector.”
