In a statement to Al-Maalomah News Agency, al-Dulaimi said, “Iraq has managed to generate a financial windfall this month through oil exports, which strengthens its ability to meet the state’s financial obligations.” She emphasized that “employee salaries are secured until the 2027 budget is approved.”
She added that “salaries will be paid on schedule without delay,” noting that “ongoing discussions are taking place between the government and the Parliamentary Finance Committee regarding the need to expedite the completion of the general budget and secure the necessary allocations for salaries and other financial obligations.”
Al-Dulaimi stressed that “finalizing the budget as quickly as possible is a priority to ensure the stability of the financial situation and prevent any disruption in salary payments and government spending.”
