The parliamentary Rights Bloc revealed a parliamentary move demanding the resolution of the vacant ministries file this August, while confirming that the campaign to collect signatures, which has exceeded seventy-five deputies, is continuing without stopping to ensure its passage in Parliament soon.
MP Mohammed Al-Hasnawi, from the bloc, stated in a statement to Al-Maalouma Agency that the Rights Bloc and other MPs have adopted a campaign to collect signatures, which have reached 75 MPs, and will be submitted to the Parliament Presidency in the next few days in order to expedite the resolution of the issue of the vacant ministries in Al-Zidi’s government this August.
Al-Hasnawi, a member of the Parliamentary Committee on Reconstruction and Services, added that the Rights Bloc insists on the necessity of finalizing the Interior and Defense portfolios within the next few days, given the circumstances the region and Iraq are going through. He emphasized that his bloc will take a stand regarding this unjustified delay.
