Agencies – announced the MP for the coalition of state law, Samira al-Moussawi, on Thursday, that the Council of Representatives is over, according to the text of the Constitution and the rules of procedure of the House of Representatives, and as shown that in the case of agreement on the budget will determine a special session, it suggested to postpone approval to after the election.
Musawi said in a press statement, said that “the Council of Representatives ended the day 5 of this April, according to the constitution and rules of procedure of Parliament,” indicating that “the agreements and political compromises of the blocks are in control of the approval of the draft budget.”
She said al-Moussawi, said, “In case of agreement to read and approve the budget, will identify special session of parliament,” pointing to “the difficulty of approving the budget in light of the political conflicts around the election.”
And suggested al-Moussawi, “postpone the adoption of the federal budget to after the parliamentary elections,” pointing out that “the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament Qusay al-Suhail tried more than once to end differences on the budget, but the quartet under his leadership failed to reach win-win solutions between the Governments of the center and the region.” GS / h
