The “My Account” project team announced on Wednesday that August 31st has been set as the deadline for receiving bank cards and completing the procedures related to the project, warning that the salaries of employees who do not receive their cards within the specified deadline will be suspended.
The project team said in an urgent alert seen by Shafaq News Agency that only six days separate employees from the end of the deadline for receiving their bank cards, stressing that “any employee who receives a salary and has not received his card by the specified date will have his salary suspended.”
He explained that about 130,000 employees and salary recipients still have their bank cards with the banks and have not yet received them, calling on those included to visit the banks and complete the procedures before the deadline expires.
According to the “My Account” team, the percentage of those registered in the project has reached about 97% of the total salary recipients in the Kurdistan Region.
The “My Account” project aims to localize the salaries of employees and salary recipients in the Kurdistan Region through bank accounts and cards, as part of a government initiative to regulate the process of disbursing salaries electronically.
