The Iraqi Ministry of Oil announced on Sunday that it had generated more than $6 billion in revenue from oil sales during the month of December.
This came according to the statistics for oil exports and revenues achieved for that month, according to the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company “SOMO”.
The ministry stated in a statement that, based on that statistic, “the quantity of crude oil exports, including condensates, amounted to 107 million, 651 thousand and 61 barrels, with revenues amounting to more than 6 billion, 388 million and 429 thousand dollars.”
The statistics indicated that the total quantities of crude oil exported for the month of December from the oil fields in central and southern Iraq amounted to 100 million, 420 thousand and 48 barrels.
According to the statistics, the quantities exported from the Kurdistan Region via the Turkish port of Ceyhan amounted to 5 million, 997 thousand, 527 barrels, the quantities exported to Jordan amounted to 309 thousand, 712 barrels, while the quantities exported from the Qayyarah field amounted to 923 thousand, 774 barrels.
