The Iraqi government of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki granted Kuwait about $ 750 million (830 billion dinars) in compensation under a new supplementary budget for the current year.
Announced the government spokesman, Ali al-Dabbagh, “said the Cabinet Tuesday’s session was devoted to discuss and approve the supplementary budget for 2012.”
And between al-Dabbagh said “the supplementary budget that was discussed and approved today were distributed among the priorities necessary for the needs of the Iraqi state, including 2 trillion dinars for the projects of the Ministry of electricity and 1.4 trillion for the ration card and trillion dinars Kt_khasasat of the Ministry of Defense and $ 830 billion dinars, war reparations to Kuwait.”
He emphasized that “the supplementary budget requires the approval and adoption by the House of Representatives.”
It is known that Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki has won strong support from the Emir of Kuwait, after Kuwait decided to first give everything required of Iraq deducted including a large part of the Iraqi port of Umm Qasr as well as closure of file objections to the Iraqi port of Mubarak, who threatens the only sea entrance of Iraq to the Gulf.
