Former MP Hussein Mardan confirmed on Saturday that the State of Law Coalition is continuing to expand its presence within the Council of Representatives by attracting a number of MPs and independents, indicating that it has succeeded in bringing more than 10 MPs into its ranks during the past period.
Mardan told the Information Agency, “The State of Law Coalition is working to strengthen its political and parliamentary weight by attracting a number of MPs, including independents, and has managed to bring more than 10 MPs into its coalition.”
He added, “There are ongoing political moves to form a broad alliance that includes more than 100 MPs within the Council of Representatives, which will contribute to forming a strong bloc capable of influencing important decisions and legislation.”
He pointed out that “the next stage will witness more dialogues and understandings between political forces with the aim of unifying positions and forming more stable alliances within Parliament.”
He emphasized that “expanding parliamentary alliances comes within the framework of preparing for the upcoming political milestones and strengthening political stability in the country.”
