Abbas al-Moussawi, advisor to the head of the State of Law Coalition, affirmed on Tuesday that the coalition’s position is firm and unwavering, emphasizing that this commitment stems from a deep-seated conviction and a moral and political obligation to the framework’s decisions.
Al-Moussawi stated in a tweet followed by the Information Agency, “We are part of the framework’s decision, not outside of it, and we believe that unity of position and respect for the agreed-upon mechanisms are the foundation of stability and steadfastness.”
He added, “Just as Maliki was appointed according to the same mechanism and by the will of the framework, any change in course or personnel can only occur through the same framework and in accordance with its decision.”
Al-Moussawi stressed that their commitment is not merely symbolic, but rather “a commitment to the institution, the approach, the principle of partnership in decision-making, and preserving the unity of the framework and its decisions, especially since its bloc is the largest component of the coalition.”
