Malik wants the demonstrations ended because he knows full well that the people are right and want his blood. How on earth can a Prime Minster on a PM salary become one of the richest men in the world without theft and corruption. Abadi needs to make plain to the demonstrators/people who the crooks and thieves are and who are standing in his way putting the country back to where it should be in the world stage. He needs all the support he can get.
