Law: Al-Kazemi’s Government Is Exploiting The Political Struggle To Achieve Its Own Interests

A member of the State of Law coalition, Jassem al-Bayati, considered, on Thursday, the caretaker government that it is exploiting political competition for the purpose of continuing as long as possible in the leadership of the country, calling for the speedy formation of a new government to get Iraq out of crises.
Al-Bayati told the “Information” agency, “The political conflicts give an opportunity for the caretaker government to try to continue as long as possible in the leadership of Iraq,” noting that “the government is taking advantage of the significant rise in global oil prices and the large financial surplus to achieve its own interests.”
He added, “The current government is benefiting from the abnormal situation that currently exists due to political competition to form the new government and put forward the majority project.”
A member of the State of Law coalition pointed out that “the Iraqi people have witnessed the damage since Mustafa Al-Kazemi took over the prime ministership to the present day,” calling on the political blocs and parties to “the need to expedite the formation of the new government and get Iraq out of the ongoing crises.”
