Kuwait – Iraq ties “thriving and positive” says Iraqi FM Zebari
CAIRO, Feb 7 (KUNA) Iraq’s Foreign Minister Hoshiyar Zebari has described Kuwaiti Iraqi relations as “thriving and positive”, according to press release on Thursday.
Minister Zebari added in statement that Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri alMaliki on Wednesday met with His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah AlAhmad AlJaber AlSabah on the sidelines of the 12th OIC summit where they discussed bilateral relations.
The participation of the highlevel leaders in the OIC Conference in Cairo is meant to support Egypt’s transition to a stable democratic system, he further added.
Zebari pointed out that the Muslim countries have a consensus to enhance Islamic solidarity, mentioned in final statement.
