The Ministry of Finance in the Kurdistan Region announced on Monday that the funds for July salaries have arrived, confirming that they will be distributed soon.
The ministry said in a statement: “The funding for the salaries of July, amounting to (830,782,000,000) eight hundred and thirty billion, seven hundred and eighty-two million dinars, has been officially deposited as funding for the salaries of employees and salary recipients in the region for the month of July, into the bank account of the Ministry of Finance and Economy of the Kurdistan Regional Government at the Erbil branch of the Central Bank of Iraq.”
She added, “Similar to previous months, the Federal Ministry of Finance deducted an amount of (120,000,000,000) one hundred and twenty billion dinars from the total funding, as the share of the Federal Treasury from the non-oil revenues of the Kurdistan Region for the month of July.”
It was clarified that “in the same context, and within the funding of the salaries for the same month, an amount of (3,326,931,000) three billion, three hundred and twenty-six million, nine hundred and thirty-one thousand dinars was not sent, which is the amount allocated to cover the salary entitlements of the past months for civilian and military retirees in the region.”
She added: “As soon as the procedures are completed and the amount is received in cash from the Erbil branch of the Central Bank of Iraq, the salary schedule will be published immediately, and the distribution of July salaries will begin as soon as possible.”
