Kurdistan Electricity: More than 5.5 million citizens receive electricity around the clock

The Ministry of Electricity in the Kurdistan Region announced on Friday that approximately 5.5 million citizens now have access to 24-hour electricity service, as part of plans to expand power supply and improve the electricity system in the Kurdistan Region.
The ministry explained in a statement received by Shafaq News Agency that a number of new areas have recently joined the list of areas that enjoy continuous electricity, noting that efforts are continuing to expand this service to include more areas during the coming period.
