A member of the Al-Fateh coalition, Ghazanfar Al- Bateekh, called on Sunday for the dissolution of the Iraqi parliament, considering that it did not produce anything for the Iraqi street.
Watermelon said that “more than a billion dollars a year goes to salaries and protections for members of the House of Representatives without the presence of any parliamentary production that reflects positively on the Iraqi street,” noting that “the citizen has become between the government’s lapses and the absence of parliament.”
He added, “The House of Representatives must be dissolved as soon as possible,” calling on the government to “hold early elections to produce a real national government capable of moving the country to safety.”
