Gen. Martin Dempsey revealed chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff said about a possible scenarios that require the deployment of ground troops, is the battle to regain control of the city of Mosul.
He explained that the United States has not yet reached the point requiring the deployment of ground troops to fight al “Daash.”
He said he “did not coincide so far of any of the circumstances and conditions that require the intervention of American ground forces.”
He said Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, saying that a possible scenarios that require the deployment of ground forces, are doing battle to regain control of the city of Mosul, which is controlled by “Daash.”
Dempsey added that in his belief that the stage requires a different kind of advice and assistance, and this is due to the complexities associated with that battle.
