Iraq’s revenues decline by 42% in June 2026

The revenues of the Iraqi federal budget declined during June 2026 to about 35.946 trillion dinars, compared to 62.004 trillion dinars in the same month of 2025, a decrease of about 26.058 trillion dinars, or about 42%.
According to budget implementation data reviewed by Shafaq News Agency, oil revenues in June 2026 amounted to approximately 28.506 trillion dinars, compared to 57.053 trillion dinars in June 2025, a decrease of approximately 28.547 trillion dinars.
Assuming an exchange rate of 100 dollars to 132,000 dinars, total revenues in June 2026 amounted to approximately 27.23 billion dollars, compared to approximately 46.97 billion dollars in June 2025.
In contrast, non-oil revenues rose to about 7.440 trillion dinars in June 2026, compared to 4.951 trillion dinars in June 2025.
The contribution of oil revenues to total revenues declined from 92% in June 2025 to 80% in June 2026, while the share of non-oil revenues increased from 8% to 20%.
