At that point, doesn’t the revaluation have to be implemented into the 2016 budget?] when they have dealt with the thieves and obstructionists – the door is open… when they move it is just a calculation. I doubt it has to parallel a budget time-line.

9-23-2015 Newshound Guru Aggiedad77 Article: “Parliamentary investment: the political differences about the investment law passed will not hinder” Big news with this draft of amendments for this law…it should be put up for a vote sometime shortly after the upcoming holiday…watch for this to happen…another important law that could impact the Iraqi economy and the MR in a big way if it is passed and fully implemented…Investors should find their road into Iraq a much easier trip than what has been experienced with red tape and much corruption in the past… IMO…this could be a part of a “package” of events leading up to 10/4…

9-23-2015 Newshound/Intel Guru BGG [Corruption…Corruption…Corruption!!!] “they are attacking it on every level”… attacking corruption – this is a good thing. …recently (last day or two) I have been hearing as early as the 24th thru about the 29th and if they miss that one then just prior to the UN Gen assembly – if they miss that window, no later than the end of the first week of October. LET ME BE CLEAR… this is not my opinion…in fact, the only reason I bothered to mention it – it was based on them dealing with a bit more of this corruption and then they would move ahead… so I believe any of this? Maybe 50/50.

9-23-2015 Newshound/Intel Guru BGG I was…asked what I thought about 2016 and then something along the lines of “what if we get to this first week of Oct – does that mean we’re into 2016″? My response was – “we will really have to get to that place and see what’s been done”… I highly doubt there is any guarantee we land in 2016 without some shift in value – however, I am much more focused on these reforms and attacking corruption than anything else…the progress they make (on this corruption) will decide for me what my opinion will be.

9-23-2015 Newshound Guru Aggiedad77 Article: “Abadi first speaker summit of the United Nations against terrorism” So the news has been saying that PM Abadi will head to the US just after their upcoming holiday…he’s first up on a list of speakers talking about terrorism issues on a global scale with the United Nations…probably a quick trip on his part and the part of their Foreign Minister as well…both seeking more military support from the US during this trip as well.

9-23-2015 Intel/Newshound Guru Mnt Goat Wanted to keep you updated on the fight against ISIS and DAASH since after all the physical security of Iraq is a large factor is whether they are going to RV sooner than later. Seems the USA strategy is working to push ISIS and DAASH back into Syria. You see they must isolate them and confine them. Once this is done it is much easier to remove them. Once across the boarders of Iraq they can then secure the boarders.

And even as slow as things feel right now, you need…to understand that Abadi IS getting stuff done, and we are DEFINITELY on the right track. I’ll give that two thumbs up, even though we are still waiting on the HCL. [The HCL: Any chance of that being resolved before Dec.?] HCL – yes, I do have high hopes for pre-December!
