9-1-2014 RUMOR Guru Mnt Goat My news today is direct from my sources in Iraq as of Sunday 8/31. I come to you today to give you a recent update on the election process… What is left is a single undecided ministry, Ministry of Oil, in which may go to the Kurdistan Alliance. This will probably be resolved by early this week. Last week they swore in all ministers already chosen and began to officially seat them…about 12 of the ministers were officially seated and their names listed in the gazette making it official. This was not the announcement of the fully formed government we have been waiting for. They plan to swear in the last 5 ministers and…seat them and hopefully they can do all this by 9/4 or 9/9 (at the latest), when they are targeting the “formal announcement”. The parliament Speaker, Saleem al-Jobouri…stated that there are no obstacles to hinder the formation of the next government within the constitutional time limit. I personally do not think it will go until 9/9.

9-1-2014 RUMOR Guru Mnt Goat This is how I am hearing they plan to roll out the new government. September 3, the remaining ministers will be sworn in. September 4, the official list of ministers will be released to the media and the people. They will announce that the government is “officially” completed. The ministers will officially start their jobs September 9 as Jubouri has stated the next official session of parliament is planned to begin on 9/9. There is a stack of bills needing to be passed and implemented such as HCL and Article 140. Parliament will not waist any time. On September 9 a bucket of laws is supposed to be brought before Parliament. Following these laws will be the budget law. Then when can we expect the RV? …I have been saying all along we wait for a formal (global) announcement to the public that the Iraq government is now fully formed. I do whole heartedly believe that the RV rollout will be completed just prior to or just after this announcement.

9-1-2014 Intel Guru Frank26 will we see an IR [International Rate] this week…IMO…No. Nor will You see a full GOI announced this week. There are far more important things to do and that they ARE DOING RIGHT NOW. This not a race to an IR…It is the securing of it…NOW.

But don’t confuse this success with what still needs to be done…laws, a GOI and some sort of success against these terrorists in Iraq. Once they accomplish that, we will be very close.

8-31-2014 Intel Guru SteveI I have a few contacts over there that have indicated that some of the big companies that left Iraq and put their projects on hold due to lack of payments, are now coming back and ready to resume their work. What they are share with me is that they have been ensured payment in coming weeks or days now and they are ready to start up again. To me this is huge as they know the budget will get done and in a very speedy fashion.

From Iraqi forces breaking through the ISIS lines and regaining a town to the Iraqi politicians working around the clock in formation of a NEW Iraqi Government changes are here. Quote: “this week will see the announcement the government formation after the arrival of the talks between the National Alliance and the Kurdish blocs to advanced stages.” September 11th is the formation deadline itself according to the Iraqi constitution but if they can announce it this week they will have one more week to vote confidence in Abadi and all his cabinet members.
