8-12-2014 Newshound Guru Millionday THE PRESIDENT OF IRAQ TOOK A NEW NAME FOR PRIME MINISTER [ABBADI]. HE IS ASKED TO BEGIN FORMING THE NEW GOV RIGHT AWAY. HE CAN FORM IT QUICKLY AND I TELL YOU WHY. THIS MAN HAS BEEN IN THE POLITICAL ARENA FOR A LONG TIME AND IS WELL RESPECTED WITH ALL PARTIES AND HAS GREAT RESPECT FOR THE GOV AND THE LAW — AND ALSO WAS WITHIN THE FINANCIAL GOV…HE HAS A LONG RESUME’. THIS PM HAS CLAIMED AND SHOWN THAT HE IS ALL FOR THE CITIZENS OF ALL OF IRAQ.
8-12-2014 Newshound/Intel Guru BGG Everyone – including the formerly “pro-Maliki” SJC has started the process of distancing themselves from him… much of this bluster about lawsuits is just that. [if the seating of the COM doesn’t trigger the RV I give up guessing.] it doesn’t “have to”. [Prob need to implement some laws first?] Not IMHO. IMHO – once Maliki is “gone” – completely, is when our possibilities are more likely.
8-12-2014 Newshound Guru Chattels from the language of the constitution, article 76: The Prime Minister-designate shall undertake the naming of the members of his Council of Ministers within a period not to exceed thirty days from the date of his designation.
8-12-2014 Intel Guru TerryK Article quotes: “Announced the new Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi assigned by the President of the Republic, that the ministerial cab will be ready within the next week.” “naming ministers next government will be announced next week, but not accepted for the delay, stressing that the minister will be named on the basis of competence, integrity and history of all people of good candidates. He added, We are keen on the participation of all political forces in the next government in order to build a democratic process sober.”
8-12-2014 Newshound Guru Aggiedad77 Article: “Finance Minister agency purity of net debt, balancing the budget in 2014 will switch from anticipatory planning to realistic budget based on real numbers” Budgets based upon “real numbers”…the world at large should wake up and pay attention to this effort…it could be the first of its kind…if I am not mistaken several days ago I saw mixed in a news article that Abadi had been placed in charge of the temporary committee when it was formed back in July to study the budget and bring back possible solutions to Parliament…If that is so…could that have been an early “sign” of things to come in that he would eventually be the Prime Minister and intimately involved in the budgeting process anyway…
Fact check, articles out today state that Maliki will remain part of the GOI as some form of Vice President, as of now Maliki is not “gone” what-so-ever, just not as PM. Things could radically change though.
8-11-2014 Intel/Newshound Guru Poppy3 I SUSPECT WITHIN A COUPLE THREE DAYS THE INTERNATIONAL POLICE FORCE WILL COME IN AND ARREST MALIKI FOR POLITICAL OBSTRUCTION… JUST WATCH THEIR ACTIONS. THEY HAVE ALREADY ANNOUNCED HE WILL BE CHARGED AS SOON AS HE IS OUT OF POWER. WELL THIS OLD BOY THEY HAVE NOW AS PRIME MINISTER REPLACING MALIKI SHOULD BE GREAT FOR US AND SHOULD ACT FAST TO GET TURKI WHAT HE NEEDS TO GET THE RV RELEASED AND START THE FINANCIAL REFORM THEY DESPERATELY NEED.
8-11-2014 Intel/Newshound Guru Poppy3 HE NOW HAS 30 DAYS TO FORM HIS NEW GOI PANEL BUT FROM ALL INDICATIONS AT THIS TIME HE WILL MOVE VERY FAST TO COMPLETE THIS STAFF. GUYS HE IS FROM A FINANCIAL POSITION AND HAS BEEN FAMILIAR WITH THE CBI AND TURKI’S NEEDS FOR SOME TIME. HE ACCORDING TO ALL THE NEWS WILL PUSH FINANCE FIRST. I DO NOT THINK THAT TURKI WILL NEED TO WAIT TILL THE ENTIRE GOI IS SET. WHAT HE WILL NEED IS MALIKI OUT OF THE WAY ONE WAY OR ANOTHER. WATCH THEIR ACTIONS…
8-11-2014 Intel Guru Jester THEY HAVE NAMED THE NEW GUYS… AND I GOT INFO FROM SOURCES TODAY THAT BACKS UP HE [MALIKI] IS GONE ONE WAY OR THE OTHER…IT LOOKS LIKE EVERYTHING IS GOING THE RIGHT DIRECTION… NEXT ON THE LIST WOULD PROBABLY BE THE FORMATION OF THE GOVERNMENT… THEN THEY CAN WORK ON THEIR ISSUES.
8-11-2014 Intel Guru Jester WE HAVE THREE DISTINCT TYPES OF SOURCE RIGHT NOW…ONE IS THE UST CONTACTS…THEY CAN BE DIVIDED INTO TWO…DISTINCT TYPES… THE ONES THINKING IT IS RIGHT HERE EVERY DAY OR NIGHT AND THE ONES THAT ARE CAUTIOUSLY OPTIMISTIC ABOUT IT BEING CLOSE… MINE ARE THE LATTER NOT THE FORMER…TWO IS THE OUTSIDERS…THE LEGITIMATE SOURCES WE HAVE IN BANKING AND FOREX AND TRADERS AND SUCH…AND THEY ARE LOOKING FOR IT BUT TELLING US THINGS ARE “CLOGGED UP” RIGHT NOW…AND THREE IS THE THREE LETTER GUYS… WE LISTEN TO WHAT THEY SAY BECAUSE THEY HAVE BEEN RIGHT A LOT…SO THAT IS HOW WE GET THE INFORMATION IN A NUTSHELL SO TO SPEAK.
8-11-2014 Newshound Guru Aggiedad77 Article: “Central bank: we have maintained the stability of the currency despite the instability in the markets” What better lead off story than from the CBI and Governor Turki this morning…he insists that despite the turmoil witnessed in the markets in recent days and the ongoing security issues around the country the CBI has maintained strong stability with the currency at the same time…he says the bank attempts to work equally with private banks and government banks alike…Turki is going a good job of showing strength for the CBI during all the upside down issues that Iraq is experiencing.
8-11-2014 RUMOR Guru The US Admin already made it clear they would back the new president before Sunday. So we knew who the new PM was. Because Iraq is so vital the entire world is taking a strong interest in this. Abadi has good reps and connections with all the sects and this will have a very calming affect throughout the country. [Have they officially sworn in the new PM?] It’s in the Gazette and is being shown on CNN and in the US news. We got it from other countries before we heard it here. Yes, it’s official.
8-11-2014 RUMOR Guru Over the weekend, on Saturday, Maliki moved stuff out of his office and started burning documents. Then on Sunday he changed his mind. But things are not as bad as it is portrayed to be. It may sound bad but it is right where we need it to be. We looked at all the news from around the world and we keep seeing “Iraqi crisis” but it’s going from crisis to Christmas. I don’t expect it to take a long time but I don’t expect it to happen in the next hour either. It still could be a tremendous week, month for us. We’re in a good place.
8-11-2014 RUMOR Guru DC [via Duke] …this morning they made it official, published it in the Gazette – made it official, that Abadi is the new PM. They have a judiciary ruling so it’s unlikely changes will be made. The CBI said “we’re good, let’s go” and they’re ready with a timeline, which we were asked not to share. In summary: everything in Iraq is wonderful. The PM drama has subsided in the past 2 hours, per texts I’ve been getting. It’s becoming more secure and stable by the minute. The new PM has triggered events and we are all extremely optimistic that the timeline is close.
8-11-2014 Newshound Guru Doc To speculate who will be PM at this point is a frustrating exercise. Rumors are all over the map and as we’ve repeatedly said we do not promote rumors. The key is actually very simple. What we want is the new PM/GOI to bring a sense of stability to the country. And we believe this will only happen if the GOI strikes an inclusive balance between the blocs. If it doesn’t civil war may rage on for some time now. The reality of the situation is the currency will be pressured to move not in our favor as long as this situation exists.
8-11-2014 Newshound Guru Doc We do concur with a very few…that the likelihood of a significant RV is virtually zero. All factually information suggest the plan is for appreciation over time as the economy expands. We still have not ruled out an initial small RV but it is very obvious the plan for major currency valuation increase is from gradual appreciation. Unfortunately none of this is likely in the near to mid term with stability in the country. We report, you decide.
8-11-2014 Newshound Guru Millionday Report quote: “al-Sadr congratulated Abadi for assignment formation of the government and discussed with him the political benefits to come.” AS WE SEE — HAIDER AL-ABADI IS FORMING THE NEW GOV…HE HAS BEEN NOMINATED FOR THE POSITION OF PM AT THIS POINT … HE IS NOT SWORN IN SO FAR AS I CAN SEE… HE IS DESIGNATED TO BE PM. — BUT THE GOV IS TO BE FORMED BY HIM…IF HE FAILS TO START WORKING WHICH IS VERY DOUBTED BY ALL — HE WILL BE REPLACED WITHIN A COUPLE WEEKS. HUGE NEWS. THIS WILL MOVE FORWARD TO BE STABILITY QUICKLY. THE UN IS HAPPY AND STATING THAT THE PRESIDENT HAS DONE HIS JOB IN NAMING WHO IS TO FORM THE NEXT GOV.
8-11-2014 Newshound Guru Tlar Iraq is in compliance with IMF’s article VIII international currency rules which means they are ready to go international with their currency. The WTO says that Iraq has met all regulations to become a full member and is just waiting on the WTO to stamp their certificate of ascension (I believe they are doing what the WTO said they would do in 2009 and that is the minute Iraq goes international with their currency and gives it value, they will get that stamp).
8-11-2014 Newshound Guru Tlar Turki put the following article out this morning saying the dinar is stable and has been unaffected throughout this process of government change, one of the two requirements for monetary change the other being the government issue “settled”. The laws pertaining to money laundering are in place and the banking system is complying to international banking laws. Through this article and his statements, he is implying that Iraq is ready for a monetary change. Article: “Governor of the Central Bank and the Agency Abdul Basit Turki 08/11/2014 14:50 Tomorrow’s Press / Baghdad: Student Central Bank of Iraq, Monday, private banks and financial trading companies to adopt mechanisms to the financial statements in accordance with the international regulations accredited.”
8-11-2014 Intel/Newshound Guru Poppy3 JUST GOT ANOTHER TEXT SAYING TURKI WILL REMAIN AT LEAST FOR A TRANSITION PERIOD OF THE NEW GOI, SO THAT SOUNDS VERY GOOD. WE KNOW HE HAS WANTED TO RESIGN FOR SOME TIME AND TRIED UNDER MALIKI BUT THAT WAS BECAUSE OF DISAGREEMENT WITH THE POSITION MALIKI KEPT PUTTING HIM IN. THIS IS SOUNDING VERY PROMISING. WE CAN SEE FOR SURE THOUGH THEY ARE NOT STATUS QUO THEY ARE IN A URGENT MOVE FORWARD MODE. WITH THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE NEW PM WE HAVE NOW INCREASED OUR POSSIBILITY OF THE RV BY 50% OR BETTER AT ANYTIME NOW.
8-11-2014 Intel Guru Bluwolf Listen up, Iraqs distress is because of the new PM being announced. US military are in place to assure that everything transpires accordingly to democratically elected law. Once it is evidently acknowledge through there Gazette (and it has) your rv is your new reality. We are all ready, everything will go silent in a heartbeat, expect your blessings now.
8-11-2014 Intel Guru SteveI I have every reason to believe my sources that is telling me that former Prime Minister Maliki is now officially history. Yes will continue to rattle some cages, but nothing will become of it. I hope now focuses on his exit plans vs. his continued third term. I do believe it he stays and causes trouble, he will be arrested pursuant to the current charges against him in the International Courts. Our day is almost here. Now the next focus will be the rest of the laws including the budget. Bright days ahead for all of us.
8-11-2014 RUMOR Guru Mnt Goat So today’s news is all very, very good news as it went from very bad to very good in a couple of days once again. So the clock stops ticking and the new PM was announced today on Monday. Ibrahim al-Jaafari said today in a statement that the alliance of Shiite political parties has agreed to nominate Haider al-Ibadi to replace Maliki and to form a new government. He is also voted in by parliament and accepted by the majority. He has not however taken his oath of office yet to begin his job. Since the PM is now selected (the third of the three presidents) we wait for the oath of office to be administered and the public announcement. This will be our sign that the RV is just around the corner. I want to emphasize once again this final announcement of the IQD going international will not happen until the USA feels the Iraq government is stable, non-sectarian and is a functional government.
