7-11-2014 Intel/Newshound Guru Poppy3 I DON’T THINK WE WILL SEE ANY RATE TILL AFTER THE NEW PM IS NAMED AND THE GOI IS SEATED BUT I FULLY BELIEVE THAT ABSOLUTELY THE MINUTE THE NEW PM IS SEATED FROM THAT MOMENT FORWARD THE RV CAN TAKE PLACE AT ANYTIME FORWARD. WE ARE IN GOOD SHAPE IF ALL GOES WELL SUNDAY AND THERE IS NO REASON AT THIS TIME THAT SHOULD CAUSE A PROBLEM. WE NEED TO KEEP EYES AND EARS OPEN ABOUT MALIKI’S ACTIONS IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS.

7-11-2014 Intel/Newshound Guru Poppy3 [What are your guys telling you regarding Maliki’s future?] …HE IS THE PROBLEM AND I HAVE BEEN SAYING FOR OVER A YEAR HE WILL BE OUT AND A NEW PM WILL BE NAMED. I ONLY HOPE THE NEW GUY RETAINS TURKI FOR AT LEAST A PERIOD TO ALLOW THE RV BEFORE HE IS CHANGED.

7-11-2014 Newshound Guru Kaperoni Article: “The Parliament of Kurdistan: charges, Al-Maliki’s desperate attempt to cover his failure and fuelling the Iraqi Street” It’s become a war of words now between Maliki and the KRG. Maliki threatens them, the Kurds put out press releases and ship more oil. Maliki says they are harboring former Baath members, the Kurds announce a referendum before the end of the year. This is getting progressively worse and hopefully Maliki leaves before more infrastructure damage is done.

7-11-2014 Newshound Guru Aggiedad77 Article: “Ministers of the Kurds did not withdraw from the government” here is the article that I knew was coming…they have not left Baghdad but merely are awaiting the formation of a new government….one that does not include Maliki…I hope they aren’t planning on holding their breath on that issue…..the jury is still out…though Sunday is not far off.

7-10-2014 Intel Guru Jester [is Maliki in or out…] HE IS STILL WHERE HE WAS AS FAR AS I CAN TELL… THE KURDS ARE DEMANDING…AND MAKING A STATEMENT TO GET HIM OUT BUT FROM WHAT I CAN SEE IT IS GNASHING OF TEETH SO FAR… [there is no “one thing” that means RV…right?] I CAN TELL YOU FOR A FACT…THERE HAVE BEEN HUNDREDS IF NOT THOUSANDS OF EVENTS THAT HAVE BEEN REPORTED TO MEAN SOME SORT OF INDICATION OF THE RV THAT SIMPLY NEVER PANNED OUT.

7-10-2014 Newshound Guru Tlar There is no news that is noteworthy coming out. At this point in the process, no news is probably good news. What is being printed is utter nonsense. Articles…saying the US and Iran are on board with a third term, are ridiculous… by and large the SOL has turned its back on Maliki. I am hopeful that they can build the government in one day but realistically it might take a couple of days. If we see the new POP in place, that means to me that the 3 presidencies are more than likely to follow quickly. It also could be that the new government could be introduced all at once before Sunday. If that happens we would then know that parliament has already been in session for a few days and would answer…the question, “if parliament is not in session, where are all the new laws that are being announced in the Gazette coming from?”

7-10-2014 Newshound Guru Aggiedad77 Article: “Indicators on the seriousness of the Iraqi dinar because of the security crisis and the government strongly reassure reservists” I firmly believe there must be a large number of people around the world that only read headlines and some of these are written purposefully to incite fear just from the title…while many Iraqi’s made the choice to remove their money from various banks at the outset of the security issues with ISIS…the dinar itself has essentially remained unphased by the crisis…..as has been repeatedly mentioned over the past few weeks the reserves that the CBI has can easily continue to support the exchange rate of the dinar against the dollar.
