5-10-2014 Newshound Guru Kaperoni …those who keep posting the dinar will RV/RI or go up in value, today, tomorrow or even within 60 days are nuts. You have a country with close to 1/3 of its demographic controlled by terrorists. These terrorists are destroying the infrastructure, bridges, roads, buildings, electric, waterways and as this article states..they control these banks. You think that the CBI is going to raise the value during all of this? While they still are not in compliance with the IMF? Not happening. I said it over and over, watch the GOI, watch Parliament. The economic reform laws and banking laws need to pass. As well this terrorist issue needs to be resolved. And the CBI needs to meet the conditions set forth within the Article IV Consultation from May 2013. Nothing happens fast in Iraq. Everyone needs to relax and plan for late 2014 at best.

5-10-2014 Newshound Guru Millionday …we are waiting on the rates to be set and released for trade — they have stated that they are in the middle of it so i would think now that the international citizens should be receiving their cards and form of payment and also am looking for the finishing of regulations coming out to the public eye on all issues — i see nothing that is holding things up so — the steps we were told about process is what i would say is going on — so watching for announcements on each of those steps as they occur.

5-10-2014 Intel/Newshound Guru American Contractor The Iraq federal budget for 2014 will continue to be delayed as they wait for the next government to be seated. It is possible that the next seated government will have to work on both the 2014 and 2015 budgets. The next government will have to work harder than they ever have to accomplish this task. Projects in Iraq are suspended or stopped altogether because of the Iraqi Parliament Speaker and the Parliament members failing to pass a federal budget. More delays, not a shocker.

I believe the nominal rate is what they will change first (delete the leading zeros) so whatever that turns out to be, that will be the value of the physical dinar. If the nominal rate is changed to one to one, the million dinars you hold will be worth 1 million US before the taxes are paid. For those that hold accounts in Iraq, it is my belief that they will not lose or gain in value. Right or wrong that’s my belief.

5-9-2014 Idiot Intel Guru Mnt Goat Good News: I am being told that from Thursday 5/8 until Sunday 5/11 we are in an excellent window to see the rollout of the revaluation. Note I said revaluation and not reinstatement. As I have said before they are going to trigger off a revaluation using the reinstatement rate from 4/26 and a starting point. I did tell you previously that this might happen and so it is now in play. I am told plans are being made for us to be at the banks next week. This extension given by the IMF bought them some time to reorganize and setup for this process.

5-9-2014 Idiot Intel Guru Mnt Goat Bad News: Having just said the good news I also have to say I do not believe a word of it. Yes – everything is set to go and can go successfully if they are allowed to continue the RV process to completion…my contact has already told me they intend to once again stall the process…until Maliki’s mandate with the government as prime minister is over on June 14 2014… Do not look for the RV prior to this date. It has nothing to do about the elections other than he knows his days are numbered and he will not get a third term. He is attempting desperately to get his hands on more money. The 2014 budget too will not pass until he is gone… We wait and see what will happen this weekend.
