11-6-2013 Intel Guru TD BREAKING NEWS!!! Well folks after a lengthy discussion (with my source) I am told to watch out for a dark horse entering this saga and it’s very, very interesting stuff! The dark horse is Turkey, specifically their Central Bank Governor, Erdem Basci, his staff and the on going association being nurtured between this entity and Governor Turki of the CBI and his staff. Word is that these parties are forging an alliance of technical and monetary policy assistance to get Iraq into the International arena.

11-6-2013 Intel Guru TD Turkey successfully carried out currency reform a few years ago and their currency was much like Iraq’s in various respects. The idea seems to be to use the Turkish model to similar implement also in Iraq. I was told to look very carefully to this story unfolding as the Strategic Alliance has continued meetings between the USA, Turkey & Iraq later THIS MONTH. The IMF has endorsed Turkey’s role in this endeavor.

11-6-2013 Intel Guru TD Now, how long will the work continue? That’s still unclear. It may obviously take many weeks or months still. The meeting at the end of this month should yield some valuable information. I will keep you informed of developments.

11-6-2013 Intel Guru TD I reported this past weekend of Iraq’s “mission of urgency” in various matters including of course currency reform. One thing of great joy to us is knowing for a fact that ALL POLITICIANS want to keep their cozy seats and with elections before April 30th, 2014 as a deadline, we are sitting in a very good position knowing that these politicians (FOR THEIR OWN INTERESTS) will indeed show some results. They have to!!

11-5-2013 SUPER PUMPER Guru TNT Tony the word now is that the mission was accomplished and the broadcast ( by Maliki) has been made. The only problem right now is we don’t know if it meets the requirements yet. I am hearing positive things at the moment, but the final decision has not been made yet. We should be hearing something about this later tonight. Once the decision is final, we will receive our window to look for the beginning of your new life. That’s it, there is not a lot to say and everything else that needs to be done has been done…tomorrow…we should be at the bank or know when we are going.

Guru Critic, Maliki has not made any “broadcast” in Iraq.

11-5-2013 Newshound Guru Tlar Iraq just accomplished something that I was not sure they could do. The election law has been agreed to by all parties. ..a formula has been found that is acceptable to everyone. I don’t know if their coming to agreement has anything to do with Maliki’s Washington visit but…He cut his visit short under the pretense that there was an emergency back in Iraq. One thing was apparent that his meetings were not good…He left with no agreements…

11-5-2013 Newshound Guru Tlar Some interesting articles have surfaced in the last few days that are very encouraging. Obviously the Election Law is a biggy. This law sets in motion another important agreement that we may see very soon. Article 140, the disputed areas may finally be settled based on the rules written in the Election Law. Article 140 deals with an oil rich area that is between Kurdistan and Bagdad.

11-5-2013 Newshound Guru Tlar This week their have been a few articles concerning the currency. There has been calls to go international with the currency as well as the Finance Committee has come out in favor of changing the currency now. Turki, the governor of the CBI stated that the CBI is the only body that makes decisions concerning the monetary policy in Iraq and that they alone speak to this. We know the CBI has stated that they were going to wait until after the Elections which are scheduled to take place before April 30th of 2014. I’m not so sure that they will wait.

11-5-2013 Newshound Guru Millionday they announced yesterday that their banks are all Basel iii and Basel ii compliant. they are not on Basel yet because of the set rates and the loan guarantees — so that is what is left for implementation… to be compliant they have to have their reality rate for trade.

11-5-2013 Intel Guru Delta [via Sandman] There is a lot of speculation that Maliki could rack this out until January or February, but Delta doubts it… it could happen this year…if Maliki waits, he will not have time to win the elections. It is all politics anyway. He thinks Maliki needs to have the re-evaluation to win. Still waiting on the CBI to make an announcement to increase the value and release the LD’s which can happen any day now. We can see this before Thanksgiving…this is in Delta’s opinion.
