NOW THIS COMES FROM OFFICIAL CBI PEOPLE NOT SOMEONE WITH NO AUTHORITY STATING IT. THE CBI HAS ALWAYS SAID THAT WE WILL HAVE 24 TO 36 MONTHS TO CASH IN NO ONE OF AUTHORITY HAS EVER SAID DIFFERENT PERIOD.

10-6-2014 Newshound Guru Chattels let me be clear about the 2014 budget “process”…the proposed budget is “in committee”, a committee with temporary chairmanship. the committee is considering various and sundry amendments, presumably, and it is to be presented for discussion to the COM. there after it, at some point, will go to the Parliament for reading(s), amendments perhaps, etc. there must be two readings and then a vote. please do not expect that a budget will be passed on the 14th, the day that Parliament reconvenes. this is my well considered opinion, i may be wrong, but i doubt it.
10-6-2014 Newshound Guru Chattels i am unaware of any limitation on the number of readings per day or any legal waiting period between the two, however i have opined based upon some ink without a link in the past that there is a three/four day waiting period between the second reading and the vote. the last Parliament got one reading in and there was some question as to whether we started over with the new Parliament, it appears or rather i surmise from what i am reading that there will be two readings.

10-6-2014 RUMOR Guru Iraq is still saying the same thing on their television. The PM spoke for 1.5 hours on their reform and how they are growing. They were excited last week with their cards being loaded. Everyone’s card is still not loaded, which should have happened pretty quickly…the rate is still $3.58 – the rate on the cards and at the banks over there. We did hear on some other sites someone is seeing a 1:1 conversion. Those rates are not international. We know the rates are $3.58, and our rate was to be higher than that, but last week it was lowered in our banks to $3.58. It was scheduled for a specific time on Saturday, and it didn’t happen. On this side, all of the intel is that everybody is ready. Our government, banks, etc., are all ready, saying, “let’s go!” Call center people did work all weekend and they are in now… It could happen any moment of any moment, any hour, any day from here on.
10-6-2014 Newshound/Intel Guru BGG While not an easy thing to confirm – for or against – the earlier report that Ismail and Jubouri were headed to Switzerland is at least interesting. It would be a difficult thing to disprove (for fact)…even if one had the access. The upside is – this is at least the “right kind” of information we would want to hear. While some are convinced Dr Shabibi is in no way involved – it is not impossible to believe he is monitoring things from where he is. I have had personal contacts who advised he would never return as long as Maliki were there (in any way) but his name WAS MENTIONED (at least in that context). This implies to me, he is still a person talked about over there.

Fact check, These rates ARE showing on the almadapaper website, they are still posted even today, however, assuming this is not a glitch and this would be a possible rate, anyone that would not accept .90 cents exchange rate is just down right GREEDY!! At a 90 cent rate..1 million Iraqi Dinar would exchange for about $900 thousand dollars, that is a rate I would be ecstatic to receive.
