[was it published in the Gazette?] IT DOES NOT SAY THE GAZETTE — I WOULD SAY ITS COMPLETION WAS PRINTED AND IS DONE TO BE VOTED AND PRINTED IN GAZETTE. […if they finish the 2nd reading tomorrow, don’t they still need a 3rd reading? And is there a mandatory 4 day wait between the two?] THEY HAVE CHANGED THE RULES SOME TO EXPEDITE THE BUDGET SO WE SHALL SEE IF THEY WAIT THE FOUR DAYS THEY STATED THEY WOULD READ THE SECOND TIME AND VOTE IN ONE DAY SO WE SHALL SEE. 1-8-2015 Newshound Guru Tlar I feel very strongly that the delete the zero program is on and that the study done in 2008 that suggested they could support the currency back then at $1.13 has since been modified based on the changes that the country has gone through. If I remember correctly the oil production in 2008 was 1.5 ish mbpd and the CBI reserves were in the low 30 billionish. So again we see both the production is up (closing in on 4 mbpd) and the CBI foreign cash reserves are way up (I would argue at over 100 billion even though they continue to espouse 70 billion = Gold, Cash and BIS) We could assume that if they could support $1.13 in 2008 that that number could be much higher by now.

1-8-2015 Newshound Guru Tlar The CBI has stated through the years that they needed government to insure a successful project. They have that now and I think that is the game changer and that they are quickly trying to implement the project at this time. I believe that they need a reality rate if they are to insure the progress they have made to this point. That’s why I think by the time the ISX goes live is the best window we have ever seen. Its only a few days away now to know whether or not this comes to pass.

1-7-2015 RUMOR Guru We believe the amnesty has been squared away. We did get confirmation that after the third revision and a minor update on Monday, they did finish it up and everyone is on board with that. They also used that time to work on timelines. …they finished the second reading of the budget and that has been broadcast on Iraqi television… They are getting everyone geared up, with finance ministers and CBI saying “go, go, go!” Those notifications have gone out from the CBI to PM Abadi, IMF and BIS. They are saying they are free and clear to do this when they want to… they’re making a valiant attempt to get this done. We hope this is finally it!

1-7-2015 Newshound Guru Aggiedad77 “Agenda of the meeting (2) Thursday (8) in January 2015″ Agenda…for the “Parliamentary Hearing” tomorrow January 8…the 2015 budget is fourth up on the list. “Fourth: the continuation of the second reading and discussion of the draft general budget of the Federal Act of 2015 ( the Finance Committee ).” Session begins at: eleven in the morning.

1-7-2015 RUMOR Guru We are still here where we shouldn’t be, but we have good news. Everything is really good. There is definitely a schedule, but I don’t know if they will meet it. There is a new timeframe…We got the information that at least 30 countries have agreed to that timeline. The second reading of the budget has been approved and they are broadcasting on their television HOW that will be implemented. We are waiting for two things – either third reading and implementation, or simply a vote and it will be implemented. The banks there and here are geared up… They got the date and time they think it will be implemented, and also a “no later than” date/time. It is scheduled for this week and I do hope it happens!

1-7-2015 Newshound Guru Adam Montana Things just keep getting better! The budget was read today, as planned. It’s possible to have a decision as soon as tomorrow, but there is no official vote scheduled that I know of… either way, when Iraq meets deadline after deadline after deadline after a decade of postponements and delays, you know it’s time to put on a smile! We already know that we have an HCA, and they are already talking about
making that an HCL. Again, moving quickly and making solid progress.

1-7-2015 Newshound Guru sczin11 BREAKING NEWS…Zaidi: Parliament will resume the second reading of the draft budget on Thursday. THEY WILL GET IT DONE, ON THEIR SCHEDULE, UNFORTUNATELY NOT OURS. REMEMBER THE 11TH IS ISX RE-OPENING… RV CAN HAPPEN ANYTIME…CBI IS AUTONOMOUS… BUDGET NEEDS RV, IMHO… NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND.

1-7-2015 Intel Guru Mnt Goat …even if the vote happens in parliament today and it passes there will still be no RV in Iraq and it is to be held up a bit longer. From my sources in Iraq they are telling me that there are some issues in Anbar that need to get resolved. The USA is still holding very strong on getting this done now …They are telling me this will not be resolved until Jan 20th . So this is our new target date for the any real possibility for an RV…they are already telling us it will not happen any sooner. Erbil is all but done and was supposed to be implemented when the new budget of 2015 is implemented. Artcle 140 too the same. Amnesty law is also adjusted. Probably our best window for an RV will be sometime after Jan 20th date.
