Government spokesman Haider al-Aboudi announced on Thursday that a new shipment of cash dollars had arrived in Iraq as part of understandings with the United States to ensure that foreign currency needs are met .
Al-Aboudi told the official media, as reported by “Mail,” that “a new shipment of cash dollars arrived in Iraq yesterday, Wednesday, September 30, 2026. ”
He added that “this came within the framework of existing understandings to ensure the continued flow of foreign currency and to meet the needs for foreign exchange in accordance with the approved policies.”
